In 2020, when our co-founder was helping his younger sister prepare for NEET, they realised something. The rank prediction tools available online either required a paid subscription, forced a login, or gave wildly inaccurate results that panicked students unnecessarily.
So we built one ourselves. A free, no-signup, data-backed NEET rank predictor using real NTA results. No guesswork, no algorithm theater.
Today, NEETRankPredictor.in is used by 1.2 lakh+ students every year. Our predicted ranks have been within ±10% of official NTA ranks for 94% of students who reported back to us in 2024.
We collect and clean official NEET result data published by NTA annually. Our dataset covers 2020, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 — over 6 years of marks-rank correlation across all categories.
We build marks-percentile-rank distribution models for each category (General, OBC, SC, ST, PwD) separately. The model accounts for year-on-year variation in candidate count and paper difficulty.
After every NEET result, we compare our predicted ranks against actual NTA ranks from students who shared their data. Our model is recalibrated annually based on this feedback.
